The space

Spacious, bathed in light and with a gorgeous blend of rustic and contemporary design, Coln Cottage is fabulous for entertaining. An expansive, duck-egg blue kitchen is fully equipped to cater for large groups and includes a sizable oven, hob and American fridge freezer. Keen cooks, bakers and cocktail makers can also help themselves to the blenders and bakeware. Through the bi-folding doors, the dining room seats 12 and in the living room, deep sofas and a wood-burning fire invite relaxation.

A good night’s sleep

Upstairs, six guests can sleep soundly under the old beams across three luxurious bedrooms. The blue and green rooms boast ensuites and super king beds. The pink bedroom includes two single beds and has its own unconnected shower room.

Room for more

The Hideaway, Coln Cottage’s interconnected annex, sleeps an extra six and can be booked alongside Coln Cottage. But it also has its own amenities. An open living/dining room with large fireplace promises cosy nights in winter and a kitchenette provides everything needed for breakfast, lunch or dinner – even a dishwasher. A high-ceiling, super king bedroom sits downstairs with use of a shower room. Upstairs, a dormitory-style bedroom with its own ensuite, offers four single beds each with their own reading light, power and under-bed storage.

Under the stars

Outside, a substantial, unenclosed garden with a BBQ makes for easy and relaxed alfresco entertaining. Additionally, The Hideaway boasts its own garden space with a dining area set away from the other cottage.
